I wasn't looking for love when I placed a personal ad in cyberspace back in December 1997. I had gotten a few responses, but nothing/no one of note until Bryan answered my ad. In his response he sounded interesting, maybe a bit too young for my tastes. (So I thought.) But I agreed to meet for coffee (at said Starbucks). I was immediately taken with his personality, demeanor, humor, and looks. We continued innocently meeting for lunchtime coffee dates for a few weeks until I invited him to an afterwork reading at Barnes & Noble...we held hands throughout. Afterwords we went for pizza so Bryan could show me his photos (portfolio?) It was after this evening that I knew for sure that I was falling in love with him - though we still hadn't even kissed! I was smitten.
The following week Bryan invited me home to dinner, and to spend the evening. He bought fresh tri-colored ravioli and foccia bread, though when we got back to Elmhurst food wasn't on our minds - if you catch my meaning. After hours of steaming up his bedroom window -we ate. The following day (Saturday) we went to the Metropolitan Museum and saw everything there was to see, cause we didn't want to say goodbye to each other. Though it wasn't planned we spent that night together too!
We've been holding hands everyday since.
